Mel Comley, a Brit living in rural France. Ms Comley gave up her job in retail a decade ago and, in the wake of a traumatic divorce, moved with her mother to a country they had never even previously visited. After renovating a few houses, she decided on a different path. Ms Comley took a creative writing course, following her life’s dream, and began to write.

“At first I was devastated when I got a negative or even so-so review. But these days, the good reviews drive me forward and the not-so-good ones have helped to improve my finished product. They’re all valuable. It just makes me so happy to know that my work is being read and enjoyed by so many people.”

Gary Starta is a former journalist who studied English and Journalism at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

His love for science fiction compelled him to write his first novel What Are You Made Of? published in 2006. Inspired by Isaac Asimov, the science fiction novel focuses on intelligent artificial life and whether sentient androids should possess the same rights as humans. Starta’s crime novella ‘ Murder By Assassociation’ blends mystery with forensic investigation. It is a departure from previous books because it contains no science fiction or paranormal elements. Its follow up is 2012’s Kindred Killers. Additionally, Starta foresees his 2008 novella ‘ Alzabreah’s Garden ‘ – a fantasy romance – as another out-of-the-box effort.

Rodd lives in Dallas, TX at the moment but hails from the sticks of Oklahoma. Interested in the M/M Mystery, Romance and Thriller genres but has a varied interest in many good books. His books have a darkly distinctive voice and deep characterizations.
